Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 cup rice (wild grain rice)
- 1 broccoli
- 50 g butter or margarine
- 1 shot of olive oil, optionally flavored with garlic
- some pepper
- some herbal salt
- e.g. feta cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
an original creation
First, cook the rice according to the package instructions. Next, cut small florets of broccoli and cook them, then drain the water. Combine both in a pot and add the oil. Stir everything well, then add the butter or margarine and melt. Season with pepper and herb salt. Chop the feta cheese, if desired, and stir in. Either melt the feta cheese or add it afterward, after removing the broccoli rice from the heat. This dish is perfect as a main course with a fresh salad.
