Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g rice
  • 150 g prawns, raw and peeled
  • 50 g peas
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Rice three delicacies

Blanch the peeled and diced carrot and peas in a little salted water for about 7-9 minutes. Then add them to cold water to preserve their color. Whisk the two eggs with a little salt and the sugar. Cook them in a large pan with a little oil to make a thin crepe. Cut the crepe into thin strips. Cook the rice in salted water until it is coarsely broken down and a little bit bite-like. 1 part rice to 2 parts water. Heat about 6 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan and fry the prawns for about 3 minutes. Then add the rice and soy sauce and fry for a few more minutes. Now add the peas, carrots, the ham (cut into small pieces), and the egg strips, and season with salt if necessary.
