Broccoli with tomato, onion, lemon

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g broccoli
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 2 tomatoes, ripe

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Delicious, fat-free side dish, e.g. with fish and potatoes

Separate the broccoli into florets and boil in a little water for about 5 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside to drain. Meanwhile, deseed the tomatoes and grate them into a small saucepan. Peel the onion and grate it into the pan. Press the garlic into the pan and add the lemon juice. Add the well-drained broccoli and heat briefly. This recipe doesn’t need any salt or pepper, but it still tastes incredibly flavorful and is also completely fat-free. I’m not really a broccoli fan, but prepared this way, I find it incredibly good as a side dish.
