Brussels Sprouts – Ham Cake
The perfect brussels sprouts – ham cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 g Brussels sprouts
- Salt
- 3 Eggs
- 1 Egg yolk
- 125 ml Milk
- 125 g Cream
- Freshly ground pepper
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- 100 g Ham
- 1 Ready-Made pizza dough
- 50 g Grated cheese
- 1 bunch Chives
- 250 g Yogurt
- 1 tsp Curry powder
- Wash and clean the Brussels sprouts and pre-cook in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Then chill and drain well. Whisk eggs, egg yolks, milk, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg together. Cut ham into strips.
- Line a springform pan with the pizza dough. Pour in the Brussels sprouts and the ham strips and pour the egg milk over them. Scatter grated cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 45 minutes on the lower rail.
- Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into rolls. Mix with yogurt, salt, pepper and curry. Serve with the Brussels sprouts cake
