Brussels Sprouts in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
 

  • 750 g Brussels sprouts cleaned
  • 4 Potato freshly peeled
  • 2 Tomato preserve chopped á 400 g
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 pinch Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Sea salt, black pepper from the mill, Thai red curry powder
  • 125 ml Cooking stock
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 400 g Ground beef

Instructions
 

  • Put on the Brussels sprouts with salted water and season with a pinch of nutmeg. Halve the peeled potatoes, quarter them and cut into bite-sized pieces, add to the Brussels sprouts and simmer for approx. 10 minutes.
  • Then drain the Brussels sprouts and the potato cubes, collecting 125 ml of the cooking stock. In the same saucepan, fry the chopped onion in the oil until translucent, add the ground beef and fry until crumbly.
  • Now pour in the cooking stock and add the chopped tomatoes. Season with sea salt, pepper and red curry powder, spicy or even hotter, depending on your taste, simmer gently for another 5 minutes and serve.
  • Sorry, forgot the amount of ground beef.
