Brussels Sprouts Rice

The perfect brussels sprouts rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Cooked basmati rice
  • 150 g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 Chilli pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, finely grated
  • 1 Shallot, finely diced
  • 50 ml Poultry stock
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Salt
  • Oil
  1. I had a few leftovers in the house and since I can’t throw anything away, I had to come up with something. So I conjured up a quick side dish for a crispy chicken drumstick.
  2. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half and cut into fine strips.
  3. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the Brussels sprouts with the shallot, garlic and chilli for about 5 minutes while turning, then deglaze with the gelatinous stock and add the cooked rice, mix everything well and then season with salt and pepper . Already finished. It couldn’t be any faster.
