Brussels Sprouts Rice

- 150 g Cooked basmati rice
- 150 g Brussels sprouts
- 1 Chilli pepper, finely chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves, finely grated
- 1 Shallot, finely diced
- 50 ml Poultry stock
- Black pepper from the mill
- Salt
- Oil
- I had a few leftovers in the house and since I can’t throw anything away, I had to come up with something. So I conjured up a quick side dish for a crispy chicken drumstick.
- Cut the Brussels sprouts in half and cut into fine strips.
- Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the Brussels sprouts with the shallot, garlic and chilli for about 5 minutes while turning, then deglaze with the gelatinous stock and add the cooked rice, mix everything well and then season with salt and pepper . Already finished. It couldn’t be any faster.
