Brussels sprouts with cinnamon bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g Brussels sprouts, cleaned
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 100 g lean bacon, cut into small cubes
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp stock powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the Brussels sprouts in salted water until al dente. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the sprouts for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a small pan until crispy brown and sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix the cream with the granulated stock and pour over the Brussels sprouts. Finally, stir in the cinnamon-bacon cubes. Serve the vegetables with roasts.
