Brussels sprouts with cranberries and walnuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g Brussels sprouts
  • 10 g cranberries
  • 10 g walnut kernels, coarsely chopped
  • 1 shallot(s), finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • chili
  • Garam Masala

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with an oriental influence

Clean the Brussels sprouts, remove the stems, and cut them crosswise. Then boil them in salted water until tender. Drain the cooking water, add the shallots, garlic, and walnuts, and sauté briefly with the sprouts. Finally, add the cranberries and season with spices. Tip: You can, of course, vary the nuts and dried fruit to your liking. I think the version with a small piece of ginger instead of garlic works very well. Enjoy!
