Bucatini with garlic

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g spaghetti, thick (Bucatini)
  • 80 ml olive oil
  • 8 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tbsp parsley, flat, finely chopped
  • some cheese (Grana Padano), freshly grated
  • possibly olives and tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cook the bucatini in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, drain, and return to the pot. Just before the pasta is cooked, heat the olive oil in a frying pan over low heat and add the garlic. Don’t let the garlic brown or stay in the pan for too long, or it will become bitter! Let the garlic oil infuse for 1 minute, then remove from the heat. Pour the oil over the pasta, fold in the parsley, and mix all the ingredients well. Sprinkle with cheese and serve. If you like, you can also add some sliced ​​olives and a few tomato pieces to the pasta.
