Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g beans (princess beans)
  • salt water
  • 2 stalk(s) savory
  • 12 dl ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Dethread the beans, wash them, and cook them in plenty of salted water with the savory for about 10 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water, and drain thoroughly. Divide the beans into 12 portions and wrap each portion tightly in a slice of ham. Place them side by side in a baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and cook in a preheated oven at 200°C until the bacon begins to sizzle (about 5-10 minutes). Remove the foil, cut each slice of cheese into three strips, and place them over the bundles of beans. Return to the oven until the cheese has melted. Perfect with lamb.
