Burnt vegetable rice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 ml basmati rice
  • 600 ml water
  • 3 handfuls of peas
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • almond flakes
  • Soy sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt
  • oil
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Boil the rice in water until tender. Then season with salt and chill. In a pan, fry the onions and garlic in hot oil until golden. Add the rice, peas, carrots, and almond slivers, stir well, and add the soy sauce. In another pan, fry two fried eggs in butter on both sides. Add the fried eggs to the rice and mix. If desired, you can also add previously cooked, minced chicken.
