Butter Mushrooms

The perfect butter mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kl. Can 1St choice mushrooms
  • 20 g Branded butter
  • 0,5 Onion in strips
  • 2 teaspoon Ham cubes
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Salt
  1. The preparation is very simple: Pour the mushrooms into a sieve and drain well. Fry the butter in a pan and when it begins to take on color, add the mushrooms.
  2. Let it roast and turn it from time to time. When the mushrooms are starting to brown too, add the onion strips with the diced ham and continue to sizzle until everything has the desired color, then season with salt and pepper and serve.
  3. We like this mushroom vegetable best “mildly fried” – someone else might like it a little deeper browned.
  4. I served my butter mushrooms with saddle of hare with a fine cream sauce and Thuringian dumplings. It was a delicious Sunday meal for us.
