Buttered truffle bites

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast or other bread
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • n. B. Truffle
  • some Parmesan
  • some chives
  • 1 pinch(s) pepper, white
  • 1 pinch of fleur de sel

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with Parmesan and chives

Cut the bread into bite-sized pieces. Melt the butter over medium heat and shave some truffle into the pan. Toss the bread pieces in the butter and fry until golden brown on both sides. When crispy, turn off the heat and sprinkle the bread pieces with grated Parmesan cheese over the remaining heat until it melts slightly. Remove the truffle from the pan, crumble it, and scatter it over the appetizers. Place it on a plate and sprinkle with chopped chives and season with pepper. Serve with freshly shaved truffle and fleur de sel, if desired.
