Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 ml buttermilk
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 500 g wheat flour, type 550
  • 1 packet of dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes

The bread maker makes the dough

Pour the ingredients one at a time into the BBA container. Set the dough program and use the waiting time for other tasks. Remove the finished yeast dough from the container and form three baguettes on a floured surface. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or in a special baguette baking pan. Cut the loaves three times crosswise with a sharp knife and let them rise, covered, for about 10 minutes. Then bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes.
