Cabbage Steak with Lemon-thyme-mashed Potatoes

- 1 kg Fresh white cabbage
- 50 ml Olive oil
- 10 Branches Thyme
- 0,5 tsp Sweet paprika
- 0,5 tsp Ground caraway
- 1 Tl Roasted and ground sesame seeds
- 0,5 tsp Chili salt
- 800 g Potatoes
- 1 Lemon
- 50 ml Oat milk
- 2 tsp Vegetable margarine
- Peel the potatoes, chop them roughly and bring to the boil in salted water.
- Cut the cabbage into thin (about 1 cm) slices. Mix the marinade with olive oil, spices, salt and about half of the thyme that has been pulled off.
- Brush the cabbage slices generously with it. Braise on a baking sheet in the oven for about 30 minutes at 200ºC.
- Drain the potatoes. Pour in the margarine, lemon juice, remaining thyme and oat milk and mash. Serve with vegan brown sauce or vegan bechamel.
