Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 550 g beans, white beans from the can, drained
- 200 ml cream
- 1 lemon(s)
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Perfect side dish made from white beans, for grilled food and fish – super quick to prepare
Drain the beans and add them to a saucepan with the cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Then remove the pan from the heat and let it cool briefly. Halve the lemon and squeeze the juice. Add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil and the lemon juice to the beans and blend thoroughly until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Serve lukewarm as a side dish to grilled or roasted meat, fish, or vegetables.
