Cannelloni with leaf spinach

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g cannelloni
  • 400 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 250 g ricotta
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 30 g butter
  • 30 g flour
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt some butter in a saucepan. Lightly sauté the flour in it and add the milk while stirring. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Roughly chop the thawed and well-drained spinach leaves. Mix the spinach leaves with the ricotta and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Fill the cannelloni with the spinach leaves and place in a buttered baking dish. Pour over the sauce and sprinkle with a little more Parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven at approximately 200°C for about 45 minutes. Serve as desired.
