Capers Fry

The perfect capers fry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Jar of pickled capers
  • Tempura flour (Asia shop)
  • Salt and fresh pepper
  • Ice cold water
  • Rapeseed oil
  1. Take the capers out of the jar and let them dry on a kitchen towel. Put the tempura flour in a bowl and important !! Add very cold water. Season with salt and pepper. You can also use tandori or curry. Add the drained capers to the batter as they are. Heat the rapeseed oil to 180 C. Please no more. Use a fork to pour the desired amount of capers into the oil together with the sticky tempura batter. When the desired color is reached, remove and drain on a kitchen towel. The deep-frying process can be repeated.
