Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 20 g instant coffee powder (cappuccino powder)
  • 50 ml water, hot
  • 300 g flour
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 50 g almonds
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • Chocolate coating, dark or white

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Dissolve the cappuccino powder in 50 ml of hot water and let it cool. Add the hazelnuts and almonds to the mixing bowl and grind for 20 seconds on speed 7. Add the cappuccino, flour, sugar, and butter and knead for 1 minute on speed 5 until a dough forms. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Shape the dough into a 2 cm thick roll and cut into 1 cm thick pieces. Shape into croissants and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (fan oven) for about 15 minutes. Let it cool and decorate with chocolate coating if desired.
