Carrot and kohlrabi stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ liters vegetable broth
  • 2 Mettenden
  • 4 carrots
  • 3 kohlrabi
  • 7 m.-sized potatoes
  • 6 Vienna sausages
  • possibly salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Bring 1.5 liters of vegetable broth to a boil. Slice the Mettenden sausages and add them to the broth. Peel and dice the carrots and kohlrabi, and add them to the broth. Simmer for 10 minutes. Peel and dice the potatoes, and after 10 minutes, add them to the soup. Continue simmering until the potatoes are tender. Slice the wiener sausages, add them, and heat through. Adjust seasoning if desired! Tip: I also like to add marrow dumplings.
