Carrot Meatballs Hearty and Juicy

  • 300 g Minced meat half beef, half pork
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 disc Toast
  • Milk
  • 2 medium-sized Carrots
  • 1 tsp Mustard medium hot
  • 1 tsp Mustard sweet
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chilli flakes
  • Sweet paprika
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Oil or clarified butter
  • 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  1. Soak the toast in a little milk. Peel the onion, chop it finely and sauté it in a little oil in a pan. Peel the carrots and grate finely.
  2. Put the minced meat in a bowl. Add egg, pressed toast, carrots, mustard and onions and mix everything well. Season well with the spices.
  3. Form small balls out of the mixture with your hands, flatten them a little, toss in breadcrumbs and bake in oil over medium heat until golden brown.
  4. I let the finished meatballs drain briefly on kitchen paper and then keep them warm in the oven at 80 ° C until ready to serve.
