Carrot tart with cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g cheese, grated
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 3 eggs
  • 400 g carrot(s)
  • 500 g quark
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Grate 150g of cheese and knead with breadcrumbs, oil, 1 egg, and rosemary. Flatten the dough in a tart or casserole dish, pressing down the edges. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. For the filling, dice the carrots and cook until soft. Grate the remaining cheese and mix with the quark, the remaining eggs, flour, and milk. Chop the parsley and add it along with the garlic, herbs, and carrots, and season. Pour the filling into the dish and bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes.
