Carrots in honey-mustard marinade

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g carrot(s)
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp grainy mustard
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 dashes lemon(s)
  • e.g. balsamic vinegar
  • e.g. lemon thyme or rosemary

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

For the marinade, combine all ingredients. Peel the carrots, cut them into strips, and add them to the marinade. Place the carrots in a dish, making sure they’re next to each other and not on top of each other. Bake in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes, depending on the desired tenderness. Turn and mix occasionally to ensure the marinade is evenly distributed.
