Carrots with cheese cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ kg carrot(s)
  • ½ cup light cream with herbs, e.g. Milbona light cream with herbs
  • 1 small slice(s) of Gouda

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Simple and delicious

Peel the carrots and cut into chunks. Fill a pot with salted water and boil the carrots for about 10 minutes. Taste them occasionally to make sure they’re not too soft or too hard. Drain the water and stir in half a cup of herb cream. Simmer gently over low heat, then add a slice of Gouda and serve.
