Cauliflower and oat patties

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g cauliflower, coarsely grated
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 25 g sesame seeds
  • 50 g quark
  • 100 g cheese, grated (or spicy)
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • ½ tsp vegetable stock powder
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Mix the grated cauliflower with the oats, cheese, sesame seeds, and egg. Then add the finely chopped onion and quark. Season the mixture generously and mix well again. If the mixture is still too wet, feel free to add breadcrumbs. Let the mixture rest for 20 minutes. Then form small patties and fry them in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Tip: If you like, coat the patties with a little breadcrumbs before frying.
