Gnocchi in spinach cheese sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 piece(s) butter for frying
  • 500 g gnocchi (from the refrigerated section)
  • Milk
  • 450 g creamed spinach (minis)
  • 2 processed cheese wedges (25 g each, or 3 wedges)
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat butter in a large pan and briefly sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic. After about 1 minute, add the gnocchi and cook for about 3 minutes. Pour in the milk, ensuring the bottom of the pan is well covered. Add the processed cheese and the spinach minis and let it dissolve. Bring to a boil once. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Variation: If you like, you can use about 75g of Gorgonzola instead of the processed cheese.
