Cauliflower gratin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 400 g minced meat
  • some oil
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 100 ml broth
  • 100 ml tomato paste
  • 100 ml sour cream
  • 200 g Gouda, grated or shredded
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Greek style

Wash the cauliflower, divide it into florets, and bring to a boil. For the meat sauce, brown the minced meat in a pan with a little oil. Cut the spring onions into small rounds, add them to the minced meat, and sauté. Mix the broth with the tomato paste and add it to the minced meat and spring onions. Stir and add the sour cream. Pour this meat sauce into a casserole dish, scatter the cauliflower over it, and sprinkle with spices and grated or shredded Gouda cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C on the middle rack for about 30 minutes. Serve with feta cheese and baguette.
