Celery and potato cakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g celeriac
  • 50 g potatoes
  • 1 thin spring onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp instant flour
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the celery and potatoes and grate them into a bowl. Slice the peeled spring onion into very thin rolls and add them. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, and flour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, mix well, and season to taste. With wet hands, form 3 cakes and place them on a plate. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cakes slowly on both sides until crispy. Arrange on a plate, garnish, and serve.
