Celery Apple Salad

The perfect celery apple salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,25 of one Celery bulb
  • 1 medium size Apple
  • 1 medium size Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise 80% fat
  • 2 tablespoon Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Salt, pepper, sugar
  • 1 Splash Worcester sauce
  • 30 g Walnut kernels
  • 2 lovely Walnut halves for garnish
  • 2 Lemon balm tips for garnish
  1. Finely dice the peeled celery bulb, then pour it into a little boiling water, bring to the boil and drain immediately and rinse with cold water. Put in a bowl.
  2. Peel the apple as well and pinch it very finely. Immediately drizzle with lemon juice so that it stays nice and light and does not turn brown. Put the walnut kernels (except for two nice halves for garnish) in a foil bag and roughly chop with a meat mallet.
  3. Add the apple sticks and all the other ingredients listed to the celery, mix everything well and let the salad steep for a few hours before serving. Celery and apple salad goes well with every cold buffet, we also like it for dinner.
