Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 can artichoke hearts, pickled in oil, natural
  • possibly oil
  • lemon juice
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Drain the artichokes and puree them in a blender. If they were soaking in water, add a few tablespoons of oil. Season with salt and lemon juice. It’s a great base for all kinds of dips, including aioli, tartar sauce, and can be used with various toppings as a spread on bread, etc. A dip with pimiento (smoked paprika) is also particularly delicious.
