Cheddar olive pralines

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 120 g Cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 55 g butter, soft
  • 100 g flour
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 jar olives, stuffed (green, with paprika paste), 135g drained weight

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Knead the cheese, butter, flour, paprika, and salt into a dough. Drain the olives. Take a portion (about 1 teaspoon) of dough, flatten it in the palm of your hand, place an olive in the center, then cover it with the dough and form it into a ball. Depending on the size of the balls, this dough will make enough for 25-30 olive cheddar chocolates. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and arrange the balls on it. Bake at 180°C (convection oven) for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then let cool.
