Cheese and sausage salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g cheese (e.g. Appenzeller or similar)
  • 250 g meat sausage
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), red
  • 250 g cooked ham
  • 2 gherkins
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar or herb vinegar
  • 4 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Mixed herbs, chopped, approx. 2 – 3 tbsp

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours 15 minutes

Slice the onions into rings and the other ingredients into strips. Whisk the marinade ingredients together with the above ingredients in a large bowl. Let it marinate for a while. It’s delicious, especially if prepared the day before, for example, for guests.
