Cheese Appetizers

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g Cheddar cheese
  • 110 g butter, soft
  • 120 g flour
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • Salt, 70 g Rice Krispies
  • 1 dashes Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

makes about 45 pieces

Coarsely grate the Cheddar cheese. Mix with the softened butter, then add the other ingredients and mix with your hands. Form small balls and flatten them slightly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at approximately 200°C for about 10 minutes. I brought the recipe back from a trip, and since then, we’ve always been asked to bring these cheese appetizers to parties. The original recipe in English calls for 1/4 teaspoon of ground red pepper. So if you’re worried they’ll be too hot, just use a little less chili powder. It’s a matter of taste.
