Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 pretzel sticks from the previous day
- 2 apples
- 1 stalk(s) leek
- 1 tbsp butter
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 3 eggs
- 300 ml milk
- salt and pepper
- Butter for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Slice the pretzel sticks and place them in a bowl. Wash and slice the leeks. Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. Heat the butter, briefly sauté the leeks and apples. Mix with the bread and season. Stir in the cheese. Whisk the milk and eggs and carefully mix them with the bread mixture. Transfer everything to a buttered casserole dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 40 minutes. Serve with a salad.
