Cheese: Cooked Cheese with Onions, Garlic and Bacon

Ingredients
 

  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 piece Onion, small
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic
  • 50 g Bacon
  • 100 g Harzer cheese
  • 80 g Camembert double cream, very ripe
  • 1 tablespoon Cream cheese
  • 100 g Cream cheese, homemade from yogurt *
  • 2 tablespoon Cream 10% fat
  • Pepper and salt

Instructions
 

  • Peel and finely dice the onion and the clove of garlic. Also cut the bacon into tiny cubes.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan and lightly fry the onion, ham and garlic cubes in it.
  • Remove the rind from the Camembert and cut into small pieces together with the Harzer. Pour into the saucepan and slowly melt while stirring.
  • Add the cream cheese and cream cheese and stir well. Dilute a little with cream.
  • Season with salt and pepper, pour into a bowl and chill.
  • * Put the yoghurt in a sieve lined with a strainer, cover, weigh down with a stone or something similar and place in the refrigerator overnight. Great drinks can be mixed from the whey. Process the cream cheese further as you like.
