Onions with Bacon and Cheese Topping
The perfect onions with bacon and cheese topping recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the cheese cream
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- Salt and pepper
- 150 g Bacon slices
- 300 g Raclette cheese
- 50 g Sour cream
- Peel the onions and cut into thin rings. Heat the oil in a pan. Steam the onions over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, taking care not to let them get too brown. Season with salt and pepper.

- Cut the bacon slices into fine strips. Debark the cheese, cut into cubes and mix with the sour cream (or crème fraîche).
baked – done!
- Place a few onion rings in the pan, cover with the cheese cream and bacon and bake in the raclette maker for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
