Cheese omelet

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g hard cheese, e.g. Parmesan, mountain cheese, Gruyère
  • 4 eggs, size M
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • 2 tsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely grate the cheese. Whisk 2 eggs with 2 tablespoons of cream each, separately. Season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 teaspoon of butter in each pan. Pour in the egg mixture and spread a generous portion of the grated cheese on top. Cook the omelets over medium heat for about 5 minutes, without stirring. Fold the finished omelets over the top and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Serve immediately.
