  • 75 g butter, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 tbsp semolina
  • 1 lemon(s), zest and juice
  • 500 g strawberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 3 hours

small but nice, Pomeranian style

In a bowl, mix together the ingredients (a little lemon zest and juice) and pour the batter into a small, greased 20cm springform pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 60 minutes. Turn off the oven 10 minutes before the end of the baking time and let the cake cool slowly in the oven. (I take it out of the oven after about 30 minutes and let it cool further in the pan.) In the meantime, I wash the strawberries and remove the stems, halve them, and sprinkle a little sugar over them, to taste. Once the cake has cooled, I top it with the strawberries and pour the already cooked and cooled glaze over it. It can then be served with a little whipped cream.
