Cheesy potatoes

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 200 g cheese
  • 400g bacon
  • 3 spring onions
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Oil for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Brush the potatoes and then cook them with the skin on for about 15 minutes until almost done. Cut the cheese into small cubes or sticks and the spring onions into thin rings. Let the potatoes cool briefly and then halve them lengthwise. Scoop out both potato halves with a teaspoon, leaving a thick edge. Optionally, season the potato halves with salt, pepper and/or paprika to taste. Generously fill the bottom potato halves with the sliced ​​cheese and spring onion rings and cover with the top potato half. Now wrap the potatoes tightly with a strip of bacon lengthwise and – depending on the size – with 3 to 5 bacon strips crosswise. Place the prepared cheese potatoes in a lightly greased casserole or pizza dish or on a baking tray. Bake the potatoes at 200°C, fan oven 180°C, for 20-25 minutes. Then serve with quark, cream cheese or a dip. Have fun preparing it – and enjoy your meal!
