Cherry and quark crumble cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 180 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 jar sour cherries
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Knead the dough ingredients. Press 2/3 of it firmly into a baking dish to form the base. Drain the cherries and spread them on the dough base. Mix the remaining topping ingredients until smooth and pour over the cherries. Crumble the remaining dough into crumbles and spread them on the cake. Bake at 170°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes.
