Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pc. Yufka pastry sheets, alternatively puff pastry
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

quick emergency solution

Mix the custard powder with a little cherry juice. Mix the morello cherries with the remaining juice and vanilla sugar and bring to a boil. Stir in the mixed custard powder, let it bubble once, pour into a bowl, and then chill. Once the mixture has cooled, roll out the yufka dough, spread with the filling, and roll it up. Brush with egg yolk and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar to finish.
