Chestnut Cream Soup with Fried Prawns

The perfect chestnut cream soup with fried prawns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 g Chestnuts pre-cooked and peeled
  • 600 ml Cream
  • 3 Pc. Onions
  • 1 l Water
  • 4 tsp Meatsoup
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chilli flakes
  • Butter
  • 5 Pc. Fresh prawns
  • Garlic Butter
  1. Peel the onions and cut into small pieces, then sauté these together with the chestnuts in butter. Deglaze the water and meat stock with it. Season to taste (pepper, salt, chilli). After about 20 minutes of cooking, puree and refine with cream.
  2. When serving, a little whipped cream and chilli flakes can be added as a decoration. Fry the prawns in garlic butter and serve on a wooden spoon.
