simple pasta dish
Wash the chicken and cut into strips. Peel and finely dice the onion. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Clean the mushrooms and, if desired, grate Parmesan cheese. Wash and finely chop the parsley. Heat oil in a pan and sear the chicken until crispy. Season with salt, pepper, and chili powder as desired. Remove from the pan and set aside. Add the mushrooms to the pan and sauté for about 4 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and sauté. Deglaze with cream and bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Return the chicken to the pan, add the parsley, and simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserving some of the pasta water when draining, stir the grated Parmesan cheese into the sauce and dissolve it completely. Season to taste and add salt and pepper if necessary. Add the pasta to the pan and mix everything together. If the liquid evaporates quickly during cooking, add some of the reserved pasta water. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley to serve.
