Chicken breast on couscous

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g chicken breast
  • Herbs of Provence, dried
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 ml cream
  • 300 ml water
  • 200 g couscous
  • some tomato paste
  • some oil for frying
  • e.g. tomato(s)
  • n. B. herbs

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

very easy preparation

Bring the salted water to a boil and add the couscous. Stir it with a whisk. Cook the couscous over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it becomes creamy. Then season with tomato paste, salt, and pepper, and add the cream. Continue simmering until it becomes very creamy again. Set the pan aside. Fry the chicken breasts, seasoned with salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs, in oil. Arrange the couscous in the center of a plate and place the sliced ​​chicken breast on top. Decorate with small tomatoes, fresh herbs, etc., as desired.
