Chicken fillets à la Stroganoff

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 2 tbsp, heaped gherkins
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

With inner fillets

First quarter the onion, then slice it into strips. Slice the gherkins. Quarter the mushrooms. Cut the chicken fillets into bite-sized pieces. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the capers and let them pop, then brown the meat. Remove both from the pan and keep warm. Add the onions and mushrooms to the pan and let them brown. Then add the gherkins and sour cream. Let it reduce slightly, then add all the other ingredients to the pan. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Serve with rice.
