Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chicken (soup chicken)
  • 1 can of asparagus
  • ½ liter chicken broth (from the cooked chicken)
  • 30 g butter
  • 35 g flour
  • Salt
  • Vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cover the chicken with clean water and simmer in a pressure cooker for about 1 hour. Separate the chicken and reserve 1/2 liter of the broth. Drain the asparagus and reserve the asparagus liquid. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour, stirring thoroughly with the butter. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chicken broth, stirring vigorously to avoid lumps. Bring the sauce to a boil while stirring, then season to taste with salt, a little vinegar, and the asparagus liquid. Finely chop the asparagus and add it to the sauce along with the chicken.
