Chicken – Mango – Canapes

The perfect chicken – mango – canapes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 2 Chopped garlic
  • 4 cm Grated ginger
  • 12 tbsp Sweet and hot chili sauce
  • Salt pepper
  • 0,5 bunch Mint or lemon balm
  • 2 maturity Mango
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  1. Cut the chicken breast fillet into approx. 2 x 2 cm cubes.
  2. Mix the garlic cloves and ginger with half of the chili sauce.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the marinade over the meat and cover everything and let it steep (ideally overnight)
  5. Wash mint, dry, pluck from the stems. Set aside 12 leaves, finely chop the rest.
  6. Peel the mangoes and cut them from the stone.
  7. Dice half of the pulp.
  8. Mix the rest of the chilli sauce with the mango, the mango cubes and the chopped mint leaves and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Heat the oil, fry the chicken over a mild heat.
  10. Drain on paper towels.
  11. Spread the salsa on serving spoons, place chicken pieces on top and garnish with mint leaves.
