Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 bag of peanut crisps
- ½ jar peanut butter
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- e.g. milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 2 cups flour
- 2 kg frying oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 38 minutes
In peanut crisps breading with peanut butter
Wash the chicken breasts and pat dry. Cut into small pieces (nuggets). Beat the egg with the milk until frothy and season with pepper, salt, and paprika. Roughly chop the peanut crisps and grind them into breadcrumbs in a blender. Transfer them to a large freezer bag. Heat the peanut butter in the microwave until well-melted. Coat the chicken pieces in flour and pat dry. Then coat them all over with peanut butter, dip them in seasoned egg, and transfer them to the freezer bag with the peanut crisps. Shake vigorously and press the coating in. Deep fry at 160°C for 6-8 minutes.
