Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes
Chicken pot recipe from Serbia
Dice the onion and sauté in a little hot oil. Then add the roughly chopped chicken and diced bell peppers and sauté over medium heat. Add the Vegeta, salt, paprika, and water and bring to a boil. Add the diced potatoes. After about 60 minutes, add the dumplings. Mix the egg with Vegeta, salt, and semolina until a paste forms. Scoop out the dumplings with two teaspoons and add them to the soup. Let them simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or white bread.
