Chicken puff pastry parcels

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 3 chicken breast fillets, or leftover roast chicken
  • 1 ½ cup(s) vegetables (frozen buttered vegetables)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 ½ cup(s) cheese, grated
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 packages of puff pastry
  • 1 egg(s)
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the finely chopped garlic and onion until translucent. Now heat the remaining ingredients, except the egg and puff pastry, and stir into a mixture. Remove from the heat and let cool. Preheat the oven to 220°C. Divide the puff pastry into eight pieces. Spread the mixture onto one half of the pastry, leaving edges. Brush these with the beaten egg. Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and press the edges down firmly. Bake at 220°C for about 15 minutes. They also taste good cold in the office the next day.
